Building Equity In New Hampshire

Dear Connor Homes,

Just wanted to pass along an interesting conundrum regarding our new Connor home.  In the midst of the worst recession in memory, one in which more than half of our retirement savings has vanished in 6 months, we recently applied for a "Home Equity Line of Credit" and got a very pleasant surprise.  As required by the bank, an independent appraiser evaluated our new "old" home to assess its value.  We're pleased to let you know that not only was the assessment for more than we actually paid for the house, this happened when all the other houses in our community have seen a 15-20% drop in value.  Furthermore, the appraiser couldn't stop "gushing" about how well built the house was and how well it fit into our quaint New England town.  We're so happy that we found the ideal "Hedge Fund", our new Connor Home, in this gloomy economy.  Thanks to all of you. Pellets and Our Hundegger Machine: Reducing Waste, Increasing Efficiency

describe the image

It’s been a busy winter here at Connor Homes! As hopeful signs of spring finally roll into the Champlain Valley of Vermont in the form of snow-melt, honking geese returning north, and of course, mud and more mud, we are showcasing some forward-thinking improvements in our factory. While we are known for our beautiful, historically accurate and high-quality homes, we also take pride in the speed and efficiency that mark all that we do. We are constantly seeking
ways in which to maximize time and minimize waste.

A New Home for Duchess Farms

Connor Homes delivery truck panelized exterior package

This custom home, based on an Augustine Parker II, was delivered last week, and is shown after just three days of on-site construction! The custom Connor Homes kitchen was designed to blend characteristics of a modern-day kitchen with the traditional feel of the rest of the home's interior finishes.

A Luella Gregory variation in Southern Vermont

This house has 6 over 6 windows which is typical of the period. In the early to mid nineteenth century, as glass production evolved, window panes, or "lites" grew larger, allowing for fewer muntins, or dividers, per window.

Letter from a Homeowner in Virginia

describe the image

We're always happy to hear from one of our clients, and are delighted that this homeowner is so satisfied with their Connor home! "You were all such a pleasure to work with.  Every contact that I had with the company was pleasant and professional, and at the end of it I was extremely impressed at how close you got to 100% with the details of the package delivery.  Avery, looking back I see that we exchanged literally hundreds of emails and calls, and in every single one of them your responses were quick, intelligent, thoughtful, and patient.
