Some time ago we set out to design a cabinet line that was simpler than our highly regarded raised panel, beaded inset cabinet that is our standard. We wanted a kitchen design with all the same high quality construction as our standard line, but one that offered an appropriate understated simplistic beauty when the situation called for that sensitivity. We found just such a design by turning to the Shakers, a religious organization founded in the eighteenth century whose members sought lives dedicated to perfection and simplicity, and that perfection and simplicity was reflected in the homes, furniture and cabinetry that they built.
Simplicity in design and perfection in execution of that design are the hallmarks of our new Shaker Kitchen. And the benefits are doubled because simplistic perfection means beauty and elegance and at a lower cost!
